The Power of Alumni

The fact that alumni are the backbone of any independent school was powerfully underscored by our inaugural Power of Alumni campaign – for the 2000 to 2015 cohorts. More than 20 Class Captains stepped up to renew connections with their classmates, reminisce, and come together to support TanenbaumCHAT. The initiative, which was co-chaired by Zach Belzberg ’05 and Noah Murad ’04, was a clear demonstration of the love our alumni have for their alma mater and the importance they see in ensuring access to an exemplary Jewish high school education for subsequent generations. More than 350 alumni contributed to the campaign to raise almost $200,000, which exceeded the fundraising goal and was supported by a generous matching gift provided by the Brent and Lynn Belzberg Family. We’re looking forward to building on the success of this campaign with the next decade. We’re excited to continue to engage with our alumni and look forward to sharing details of upcoming alumni events over the next few months.
