The TanenbaumCHAT Parent Engagement Committee is a way for parents to make meaningful contributions to TanenbaumCHAT, connect with one another and participate in the life of the school.

Parent Ambassador Committee

This group of parents works with the Admissions Department to assist in recruitment efforts. Parents have the opportunity to help with Open House, make calls to incoming Grade 9 parents and host an event for New Stream parents. As an ambassador of the school, you will be a positive voice for TanenbaumCHAT and help promote our school to your friends who may have questions about what a TanenbaumCHAT education could look like for their child.

Event & Program Committee

This committee is mandated with the task of planning social and/or education events for the parent body of the school.

Power of Grads Committee

Grade 12 parents plan the giving campaign to celebrate Graduation. It’s a way to honour the extraordinary education our students experience and the impact the school has on their lives. An informative and/or social event attached to this initiative is also a possibility, outside of the formal ceremony planned by the school.

Community Campaign Committee

Our school community powers the TanenbaumCHAT campaign with ongoing support throughout the year during events, programs and giving opportunities. This committee will engage and solicit parents and grandparents with a focus on growing our annual Day of Giving.

Staff Appreciation Committee

This committee plans and executes an initiative to recognize the personal and professional contributions teachers and school staff make to our children and their learning.
