We’re excited to launch a Shabbat-themed session of TanenbaumCHAT Teaches, featuring a special lecture titled “The other reason we celebrate Shabbat,” led by Head of School, Dr. Jonathan Levy and sponsored by the Neil and Deborah Fischler Family, in loving memory of their mother and grandmother, Fay Fischler z"l.

TanenbaumCHAT Teaches is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, learn, and engage with one another in an inspiring setting. It’s a chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for Jewish learning and values.

Dr. Levy will delve into the familiar purpose behind the Jewish people's celebration of Shabbat, while also uncovering its deeper, more concealed meanings—particularly how it relates to the concept of freedom and liberation.
