The New Stream Student Tour will take place on Wednesday, September 30. Please complete registration for the Student Tour on the Admissions Portal.
Grade 8 students attending Jewish day schools will visit TanenbaumCHAT on pre-arranged tours with their school in the fall.

The Parent Open House will take place on Tuesday, October 20. Please complete registration for the Parent Open House on the Admissions Portal.
Applications for new student entry in September 2027 are now open.
Our application deadline is December 1. Applications received after the deadline will be placed into a waitpool and will only be reviewed in May 2027. A late fee of $500 will apply and we cannot guarantee that space will be available.

Online Applications are now open for the 2027-2028 school year.
Applications for new student entry in September 2027 are now open.
To begin the application process, you must first create an account through the Admissions Portal with a unique username and password. The login information will be important to have throughout the admissions process.
Once created, candidates will complete an “Application Checklist” which contains 10 mandatory categories, plus Parent Open House/Student Tour registrations. An application will only be considered “submitted” once the mandatory checklist items are complete.
Applications must be completed by the December 1 deadline.
A fee of $1,100 must accompany each application ($250 non-refundable, $850 tuition deposit).

Placement tests are a required part of the application process. Each future TanenbaumCHAT student will write tests in English, Math, and Hebrew. Students entering the New Stream program are not required to write the Hebrew test. We use the tests to help us determine class placement and abilities.
You can choose between two placement test dates when completing the application: Sunday, November 2, 2025 or Sunday, December 7, 2025.
We must be in receipt of a completed application prior to writing placement tests.
Once your application is reviewed and all necessary documents have been provided, we will get in touch to schedule an interview. The student and at least one parent or guardian must attend. No preparation is required.
Interviews take place between October and February.
Offers of Acceptance will be sent on Friday, February 20, 2026.
An additional $1,000 confirmation deposit, which will be credited towards tuition, must accompany the acceptance of the offer.
